The Book of Form and Emptiness – Ruth Ozeki – 560 pages
Cloud Cuckoo Land – Anthony Doerr – 640 pages
The Lincoln Highway – Amor Towles – 592 pages
The Sentence – Louise Erdrich – 416 pages
The Every – Dave Eggers – 608 pages
Apples Never Fall – Liane Moriarty – 480 pages
The War for Gloria – Atticus Lish – 464 pages
The Morning Star – Karl Ove Knausgaard – 688 pages
The Magician by Colm Toibin – 448 pages
My next read? I am considering ‘Assembly’ by Natasha Brown which checks in at 106 pages.

I’m currently reading the Towles and it is simply speeding by – a lovely book.

Hi Annabel,
Good to know. I had the same reaction with both of his first two novels. Of those I listed, the two I most want to read are the Amor Towles and the Anthony Doerr.

I don’t mind a long book, but I look forward to Novellas in November!

I’ve read ‘War and Peace’, ‘Anna Karenina’, and ‘Ulysses’, and I want all my long novels to measure up to those three. :)
